Update notification (Job's biography by Isacson)
Bought Walter Isacson's biography of Steve Jobs. On my TR list. Got a notification from Amazon yesterday that there was an update available (first time for me) and I should return the message with "Yes" on the first line.

Anyone elso got this? Am I being subjected to some kind of hijacking attempt?

I received the message also. It's how Amazon typically handles e-book corrections, revisions, etc., so you should be fine.

I got it too. I already finished the book so I don't need the update, and I think if you get the update it might delete your highlighting, bookmarks, notes, etc.

I haven't started it so I'll be ok with notes, highlights and so on.
Is it just me, but that e-mail didn't really look like it originated with Amazon (not trying to sell anything while they had my attention). Once you replied to the e-mail how did you know that the book had been updated?

I got the same message on a book (Lord of the Rings) I purchased a while ago through Amazon. Followed the instructions and got the new version. Not sure what the changes were.
