One File - multiple titles?

I've got one big file, containing several booktitles.

I want to have all single booktitles registered in calibre. Doing this the complete file is copied for each title I add.

Now my question:
Is it possible to add several booktitles to calibre which do refer to the SAME file (so I need only one copy of the file)??

I don't wanna split the file, because I'm gonna loose the possibilty to search the complete content for certain contents ...)

Any help welcome ...
TIA

Not automatic.

You could create an 'Empty Book' and make notes in the comments section.

It is a nice idea. But...
The Can of Worms, this idea opens
Send to Device: Duplicates file with different name or broken
Save to Disk: Duplicates file with different name or broken
Series: (No clue how bad this gets)
Library management: What dos Calibre have to do if you delete the parent (the real file)

and probably a dozen more
