If you were to buy a new phone...
Of the above what would you be most likely to purchase?
Personally I wouldn't ever buy a BlackBerry phone, I would consider buying a Iphone but really I think Android is the best right now, especially with the Galaxy Nexus (Nexus Prime) and the NEW Motorola RAZR. They top Apple in power. Don't say you wouldn't buy one, if you where going to be buying one which would you buy with the information that you have. Where to buy a new phone? Well, the same phones cost less, almost anywhere that isn't a dedicated phone store. I used to always buy them from my local Radio Shack, but last time I needed one they had stopped carrying Verizon, so I had to go over to Best Buy.

I also am not a HUGE Apple fan (For the same price I can get a better Android phone), but I am a Steve Jobs fan. We might not have any smartphones if not for him.

I have a Blackberry that I love. My brother has had a Blackberry since they came out and won't look at any other phone. Everyone else in the family has Droid or Apple. My contract is up with Verizon next year and I think BB will be done. I don't have anything Apple, never had an iphone, ipad, ipod so I guess I would look at Droid. But I would hate to give up my Blackberry.

So I'm not sure what I'd get... |

I've never really wanted a BlackBerry, would never buy an iphone or anything Apple and have never tried a Windows phone. Android all the way! My last phone was Symbian and my Atrix is so much better.
I saw that Motorola was bringing back the RAZR and I thought they were nuts until I saw a picture! If it wasn't Verizon I might get one but Verizon doesn't work at my house - no I cannot hear you now. |

My phone is not dead. If i were to have to replace it, my decision would be whatever has the largest screen while still fitting into the breast pocket of a fishing shirt.
Current phone is a five inch Dell Streak. Upcoming, the five point two nine inch Samsung Note looks good, but if the bezel were small then a six inch screen would be even better. |

I'd go for a cheap android. Don't use the phone much for things besides calling and texting, but do want to be able have my phone as a wifi hotspot out of the box. As small as possible!
(I now have a Nokia 5230 that I use as a wired 3G modem.) |

I'd buy an old-school flip phone. With free wifi so readily available, I don't need 24/7 access to the internet. So being forced to pay for a data plan I don't need is a complete waste of the $562 I'd have to pay over the life of a two-year contract. I have better uses for that money than to donate it to some greedy carrier.
Example:

I like my Blackberry. The one I have now is the fourth or fifth. So I'd probably go for another.

I love my Blackberry but last week showed that BB users are not only dependant on their carrier but also on BB. I didn't have internet for over three days and in August there were also problems. Problems can happen but RIM's lack of information (in August there was no news and last week it took days before they admitted there was a serious problem) is for me a reason to want to switch.
My contract is up for renewal in July and you can always get a phone cheap when renewing so I think I'll see what kind of Android phones they have on offer at that time. |

Other. I don't need nor want a smartphone. If I had to buy one (or would be given one, for work, for example), I'd only settle for the Android. I don't like walled gardens...
