Touch Kobo Touch Firmware 1.9.12

Kobo Touch Firmware 1.9.12 and desktop 2.1.3 have been released.

Kobo Touch:
• Make notes within a book while you read
• Browse and edit your notes with the Annotations list
• Customize how you tap on the screen to turn pages (including left-handed)
• Full German dictionary now included
• Faster highlighting within books
• and more...

Desktop:
• Make notes within a book while you read
• Browse and edit your notes with the Annotations list

I'm testing now, and I like the new feature about turn pages.
High-lighting and annotation works great for Kobo-books (free epubs don't have this option)
Waiting for a spanish dictionary :-)

Unfortunately, the microSD problem remains in this release. Too bad because there are some nice improvements.

Back to 1.9.10.

That's nice that they now have a release notes button in the 'Device Information' section of the settings..

Seems the bug that keeps placing you back on page one of the books/shortlist when you toggle the shortlist 'heart' on/off has been fixed.. Thanks!

in the beta just kobo books so i assume just kobo books in the full version

This may be more your problem than a Kobo problem. The micro-sd card works just great in my reader and has done so for .11 and .12

Try again, Wes. It worked fine over WiFi for me (7 minutes after you tried).

I've managed to get Desktop 2.1.3, and have watched as the 1.9.12 upgrade gets downloaded.

Upon disconnect, I am prompted to do the upgrade, and, when the upgrade finishes it shows the release notes from 1.9.11.

I get the same result if I do a WiFi based sync on the Touch itself.

Ideas?

Peter--what version do you show on the device. Mine is 1.9.12 (r33689, 10/13/11)? The notes say v 1.9.12-10/7/11.

Same on my device.. No SD probs.. Updated to .12 with no probs in Hawaii..

It's possible the update is still rolling out to all servers..
