Lending (Receiving) Books

My friend has a Nook and has offered to lend me a series. I don't have a Nook, but I do have both the Nook and the Barnes & Noble eReader apps.

She sent me the first book, I read it on my iPod Touch with the Nook app. Now she has sent me the second book and I can't get to it at all.

I sent customer service an email and have not heard back. Hopefully this forum works too.

Do you have any ideas why I might be having trouble?

Call customer service. 1-800-THE-BOOK (1-800-843-2665). The email address is just for low-priority FAQ questions. They try to respond within 48 hours, and usually give either a section of the FAQ or tell you to "call us."

Thanks for the reply.

I really thought it would be something simple but apparently it is not. I did finally get a response and it was an email that wasn't even close to my question (I asked how to get it to *show up* in my account and they gave me instructions for *loading* it onto an *iPad*.)

I will try the phone number.
