minimize to system tray behavior

Is there any way to customize the minimize to system tray behavior so that minimizing the software puts it in the system tray, but closing the software via the exit button exits, rather than minimizes?

No, minimize will not go to the system tray. You can turn off enable system tray icon and exiting will close the application.

Control-Q quits, even when only in the tray. or use the Quit, right-click option on the tray Icon.

"You can turn off enable system tray icon"

remind me please where that option lives nowadays.

I figured that as current versions start up v quickly, I could turn off minimise to tray, & just pin calibre to task bar instead, & thus not have the wasteful, unsolved ( don't mention the) memory leak issue.

looked at every preference screen - could not find it !

update - found it at 2nd attempt - it's on look & feel screen, dunno why I could not see it earlier!
