Returning library ebooks early??

HOw do you return a ebook to the library early? I have a 650..

I've not long had my ereader!!

Run ADE.
Click the library view icon in the upper left corner of the ADE window.
Find the book you want to return early.
Put the mouse pointer on the book you want to return early.
Click the little arrow that comes up when you put the mouse on a book in ADE.
Select Return Borrowed Item.

That's it, done.

I'm currently running sony reader library.. Can I do it from this program?

Yes, just double click the book in the reader library and and then click on return borrowed item. I believe it only works for epub and pdf files, doesn't work for audio books unfortunately.

I right-click on the book in library view and choose "return..."

What about Overdrive music files? Any ideas on how to return them to the library?

You can't. At least, that's my understanding. I borrow them to listen to Audiobooks on my iPod and they just expire and you have to manually delete them from the device. If memory serves, you can't do early returns for anything other than ebooks.

If it's an Open Epub(no drm) you can't return it early so be careful to select the right lending period. I borrowed a short story and for some reason chose 2 weeks and now I can't return it early.
