Kindle books download in 2-3 separate files
I don't know if this has been asked before, but:
Kindle books download from Amazon in 2-3 separate files. I have transferred all 2-3 to Calibre, which results in duplicate titles. I assume I need to keep all files if I want to read a book again on the Kindle, but can I eliminate duplicate listings in Calibre? Thanks. |

the only file you need to copy has the extension (azw) that is the book, the .apnx file is the page numbers, .mbp holds you position in the book, .apl is the popular highlights file and so on. all of the files are useless in calibre. the only file you need to copy to calibre is the .azw
