Good PDF and comic viewing apps for ipad2

Well I bitten the bullet and purchased a 32Gb iPad 2.

There were specific needs for us to own a tablet. I have a lot of PDF reference material for my hobby, plus gaming stuff and quite a few comics now, that are not suitable for any of my e-ink ereaders. A tablet allows access to that material without having to up shop and move to a desktop PC etc..

My trusty and much loved e-ink readers will be used as per normal reading fiction ebooks.

As such I am trying to decide the best PDF apps (using ibooks currently), comic readers etc to make my iPad truly excellent.

Input would be much appreciated.

[For comics]
I've used ComicZeal and Bookman quite a bit.
I slightly prefer the interface of ComicZeal, but ended up using Bookman because it is much easier to get content into the app (it acts as an ftp server, so you can push content to it from your PC), and you can use whatever folder structure you want.

GoodReader is the best PDF viewer for the iPad.

Comixology is a good comics reader. You get access to lots of content, including the big two-DC and Marvel

I use Comic Zeal for comics (its great, specially if you get your comics from "alternate" sources ).

For straight PDF reading, I use GoodReader (and it excels as a TXT reader as well - great for Gamefaqs!). If I need to heavily annotate the PDF (as is the case with scientific papers and textbooks), iAnnotate PDF is the most robust solution I was able to find.

But you can't go wrong with GoodReader. Its a must-have app.

Joining the recommendation for GoodReader. It is basically (almost) the only thing I use my iPad for nowadays.

If you have tons and tons of comics, you might want to check out Papers for Mac and iOS.
