Content Server Questions
Hello,
I apologize if I missed this in the search but I couldn't find the answer to my question. I think from reading that my content server needs to be reachable via IP, but I can't tell if my device has to be stay connected to read content. 1) Does it actually download the content to my device and then I can be disconnected or do I need to stay connected in order to read? 2) The directions indicate that I need to know the IP address of my device. Is this still true? Are there any plans for something like Bonjour where my iPad can auto-discover the device IP? Thx! |

Once you "get" the book (save to file), you can disconnect. |

The content server advertises itself via Bonjour. If you use Stanza, it will auto discover it.
