Installation
Hello! I am trying to be a new user of Calibre. Unfortunately, every time I try to install it on my computer, after it has copied the files, it pauses and then rolls them back, posting a message that the installation ended prematurely because my system has not been modified.
It doesn't tell me what modification is needed, or what the problem is, so I'm at a loss on what it wants. I'm just installing it on my desktop computer, XP. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!

 The calibre author, Kovid Goyal, is extremely responsive in the calibre forums, as are the all the calibre developers! If you haven't already, visiting there would provide some assistance.
