Count number of authors
Is there a way to do a search for authors that have more than a certain number of books in my library? I would like to find all authors that have more than 50 books (I apologize if this has been asked before, I could not find any posts about this).

One way (remember this is Calibre with many ways )

In the Tag browser
Set the Tag browser to show "By Popularity" (remember to put it back when done or we will be answering a "Whats with my ..." question )
All the items will be ordered by counts.

Tag browser shows only "By First Letter", Disabled, and Partition (looking in Preferences - Look and Feel - Tag Browser ... am I in the wrong spot?)

At the bottom of the Tag list area. It probably says Sort By Name. Change it to By Popularity

Thank you, this was even better than what I was looking for (a search, but this is much easier to work with).

The sort type gets changed and the changing of it, is forgotten.
Later we get a "Whats wrong with my sort" question
