Lots of Crashes: MySQL Database!

Hi all,

I'm currently trying to add about 5k books as epub. Library and .db reside on a samba share. I keep getting lots of db locked errors when doing like more than 50 books in a row, either adding or adding metadata. The process then slows down, breaks, and I have no idea where I left off.

This really sucks. How can I support you to get this going against a real db like MySQL?

Dont put the library on a samba share and you wont get any crashes.
