Touch My Kobo Touch return story

I ordered my Touch (online from Chapters) before they were released and received it on the release date. LOVED IT!

Last night I noticed the USB socket was loose, I had to jiggle the cable to get it to charge.

Today I called KOBO and they opened a Tier 2 ticket but suggested I try to return it at my nearest Chapters store. 10 minutes later I was at the store (its across the street) with my KOBO and all my receipts and shipping info.

20 minutes later I am at home with my BRAND NEW touch, just waiting for it to sync.

Have I mentioned I LOVE MY KOBO!!

As they make devices smaller and thinner connectors also are thinner. USB, USB mini, USB micro I don't think USB connector on Kobo Touch is as rugged as USB connector on Kobo Wifi. I try to handle it gentler, so maybe it will last life of device. That's progress can't stop it.

Actually Micro-USB's connectors are supposed to be more durable than regular USB connectors (e.g. the style on your USB keys) and Mini-USB (e.g. Kobo Original & Kobo Wifi).
