Managing notes on books
I just broke my Samsung reader and I have realised how vulnerable is my annotation database. How do you keep your notes on what you read?

May be you can download some free application from Android market that keeps your notes syncs automatically with your Gmail account, no danger of losing your precious notes anymore.

I don't have any android device around. Also, these days I am trying to move all my affairs out of google's hug. The thing is I travel a lot and I had enough of their facebook-like tracking systems. Sure, I'd like something secure and maybe a list of the last logins (something that comes by default on a *nix system), but me moving often is not their business.
So, anything else? |

I recommend using Evernote -- they keep notes very well and there's a desktop application + various browser plugins. Also "read later" by Instapaper is nice.
