Some highlights:

Firstly, and perhaps most stunningly, Android users are 86 percent more likely than iPhone users to live in the countryside. What can this possibly mean? Possibly nothing, but wait. Those who prefer the little green robot are also 80 percent more likely to have only a high school diploma. They're also 71 percent more likely to say they follow rather than lead.

What a contrast with iPhone users. They are 67 percent more likely to have a household income of more than $200,000. They are 39 percent more likely to declare themselves high-maintenance. And they are 18 percent more likely to be women.

Androiders are 71 percent more likely never to have traveled beyond the borders of the United States. They are more than 100 percent more likely to be PC users. And they adore "How I Met Your Mother."

iPhone users, world travelers that they are, loved "Midnight in Paris" and are 67 percent more likely to back up their laptops constantly. Oh, and they're 13 percent more likely to play a musical instrument.

iPhone users are also more likely to be extroverted optimists who spend a lot money...

Both my husband and I fit in the "iPhone group" but are Android users. Well, I say that, but I'm the only one of us who is female. Other than that, though... 'Course we've never filled out a poll on Hunch because what the heck is Hunch?

We had a name for polls like that as well but it was spelled slightly differently, more like c**p as it was shorter and more to the point... and seconded with "Hunch"??? Must be too trendy for sane mortals with a life...

Depends on what you're talking about. If you're just after a tablet, you'd be hard pressed to not find an Android based tablet for less than the $500 base model iPad. You can get free phones with Android now, where as the cheapest iPhone is $50 and only available via AT&T (If you want one on Verizon, you have to spend $200).

Now, there are Android devices that are as expensive as the iDevices, but for most people, they're just after the entry level, and not the top end.
