contacts sync error

hey all,

my contacts synced once
but i have since added a few more to my google account and it fails to resync.
when i go into accounts, it says that "sync is currently expiericeing problems. It will be back shortly."
but calender is still syncing. i replaced the calender sync apk with a cyanagen apk and that didnt work.

any ideas.

I get the same issue. If I reboot it seems to fix that issue.

Reboot doesnt seen to work.
I also get a google talk authentication fail message when i reboot.
not sure if they are related but i have uninstallled google talk
and i still get that notification.

I am getting the sync error only on contacts. it was working before.

ill let u know iif I figure this out.

Dylan,
I've been playing around with the contact feature and it seems to me that when there is nothing to sync, I get an error. I make a change on the gmail side and sync and it's successful. If I make a change on the PE side, it works as well.

So it seems that if there are no changes in the contacts, there is an error.

There's probably more to the error as it seems if I move contacts from group to group, I don't see the change.
