Remove tags from collections @ Sony PRS-650

Hi,

I have some tags I don't want to appear on my reader.

2 types of tags are:

TODO.xxx.yyy

and

TODONT.xxxx.zzzz


How do I remove them?

I've tried this:

sony_collection_name_template = '{value}{category:| (|)}'

sony_collection_renaming_rules = {'tags:re((^| |;)(TODO(NT)?\\..*)( |;|$),)': ''}

No change

Plugboard with dest tags:

 {tags:re((^| |;|; )(TODO|TODONT)\..*( | ;|;|$),)||}

No change

custom collumn (#essential_tags):

{tags:re((^| |;)(TODO(NT)?\..*)( |;|$),)||}

The exact tags I need.

I have tried the plugboard and the rename rules in various ways/combinations but I did not succeed.

Anyone an Idea that could help me?

At this moment I have set the function to use essential_tags in stead of tags, but for various reasons I want to use this function without this column.

Plugboards have no effect on metadata being used to make collections, with the exception of title_sort and author_sort.

Put the tags you do not wish made into collections inside [ ] characters, as in [TODO.xxx.yyy].

You can also do it as you described, using a composite custom column 'built from other columns, behaves like tags'. I imagine that you would want to hide this column on the library view and not check the 'show in tag browser' box.

The extra column is a problem because I use several libraries.
