I want to convert a whole library to a common format from a mix of txt, pdf, rtf, etc. Is there a portable format that works better when converting from txt (most of the books are txt)? If they work equally well, is there a common format used more than the others?

Under the hood, Calibre uses HTML. My guess that EPUB or HTML are good 'master' formats. | |
