scrape txt
I have some .txt format books. Within the first 100 lines of text the title, author, etc. are listed as "title:", etc. Is there a plugin or method to extract that information associated with calibre or do I need to look elsewhere?

There is no way to scrape the information from inside of the file.
If they are all consistently formatted then it wouldn't be hard to modify the TXT metadata reading plugin to read the information from the file. See http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~kovid/c...etadata/txt.py for how it's currently done. |
