Cheapest place for Agatha Christie eBooks?

Preferably in EPUB format, but I am willing to convert from Mobi.

I love Christie, and I've been holding off buying the eBooks because last time I looked on the official website they were so darn expensive for what they are! Now, I'm willing to reconsider.

What do you feel is a fair price for a Christie novel (electronic)?

I baulk at paying so much for a dead person's work. Especially if they have been dead for some time and somebody else - thanks to inane copyright laws - is profiteering from their work.

I recently bought Lolita (£4.50-ish) - despite not owning a Kindle (I stripped the DRM and converted to Mobi), and despite Nabokov resting in peace somewhere - because I wanted to be sure of the quality. I didn't want some murky, poor, typo-ridden document acquired from the dark corners of the interwebz spoiling my experience.

Ahem. So yeah, if anybody can point me in the direction of Christie novels - please do!

P.S. I want to read her work in chronological order.

P.P.S. Thanks!

They are £3.99 at Amazon. I'd consider this to be an extremely reasonable price.

I was reading free-in-store at Barnes and Noble yesterday and noticed that they had a complete Agatha Christie listed for $2.99, or $3.99. Since I abhor mysteries I wasn't paying close attention.

I got a complete set, on CD, on ebay for about the same - can't remember who, but one of the regular seller.
Transferred OK, and no faults of any great concern so far - although I do have to ration my Christie, or be in the mood.

[ Just struck me, this was early on in my ereading life, so hope this was legal - If it wasn't, I haven't got them ! ]

Red face Oops.......

Ah...... I very recently began to fear as much.

Well, at least the charity shop won't care............

And it'll sort of diminish the crime ...?

[ Would e-bay know/care ? ]

HarperCollins (who hold the international rights) is selling them at Kobo for $6.99 each and sometimes in 3-novel omnibus editions for $17.99. These are Kobo and epub editions. Your public library may also have a decent selection of these as ebooks as well.
