Since upgrading to the latest firmware, my WiFi has been hit or miss. I'll be online, and then it'll just lose the signal, or it'll say there's no WiFi, but it will load the next page anyway. The worst and most common problem, though, is when it connects for a couple of seconds and then says disconnected almost immediately. I know it's not my router because I always check to see if my phone can get the WiFi, and it always can. Rebooting the device doesn't help. Also, this has only been a problem since the upgrade. Any ideas?

I never had a Problem with WiFi, but I used an app called "Keep WiFi Alive". Maybe that did the trick

Yeah, I had the same problem....................let pocketbook know.
One guy said to load it and then hit factory default and reboot..................said it worked for him. But after my problems with it, I went back to 2.06 and spent the afternoon reorganizing my books. Not going to try it again until someone has a sure fire cure. |

I'm using the IQ. I'll try the keep wifi alive app and see if it helps. It took me so long to get tings the way I wanted them after the upgrade, that I hate to undo all of that. Honestly, I shouldn't have to.

i agree...............I'm leaving mine alone. Took me all afternoon to get back to normal.
I'll wait and see what if anything Pocketbook comes up with for a fix. |

Rest will solve your WiFI problems
Guys,
after flashing to 2.1.1 clear your data and WiFi will work fine! Go into Privacy and so on. You might want to backup things you want to keep before that!! |

As I've said before, I've had the same problems. Someone suggested selecting factory reset after installing the FW. I did it last night and it seems to work fine..............but I haven't been online with it much as yet.

It does work. After installing the 2.1.1 firmware and rebooting, I chose factory reset.
Everything was fine after that................all I had to do was reinstall a bunch of stuff. |

Have worked with it for a couple of weeks now and no problems since selecting factory reset after the install.

TTS doesn't work for me either, though I haven't used it much before I would like it back if possible. WiFi was fixed as recommended, by reverting to factory settings. Like others have said, it is necessary to reinstall apps and set it up again.
