Hello from Scotland

Hello everyone joined this forum as I have recently been given a kindle so hoping to find out a bit more on what I can do with it as well as finding some interesting reads.

Well besides reading books with it you can connect it to your home wireless network, as I have done, and use it as a portable web browser (from the home screen click menu, then experimental, there will be a menu option for web browsing). You could complete a process called routing (come inside the Kindle club house on this forum to find out more about what rooting is and how to do that) and write additional software to use on the Kindle. Amazon does a great job at pointing out to you the books that might meet your fancy, so the first thing to do there is to go to amazon.com and look through all of the books that they have to offer, amazon will take notice of what you chose to look at and recommend books that would be to your liking.
