Follow this instruction:

1. Go to http://www.chron.com/content/chronicle/com...chive/byocp.hts
2. Select Comics per page up to 8
3. Select your Comics (I would only go for up to 8 comics, or things might get messy with hotsync later)
4. Click on Build it.

5. Copy the url of new page that is being generated into iSiloX.
6. Link-Depth: 0

Thants it.

Through this site you can have upwards of 8 per page by making a change in the URL after you're done building your comics page. The bit specifying how many will be shown is the "cpp=14" in the one below. This may or may not be allowed. Below is the one I'm using. I'm unable to download the color comics via isilox, but the black and white ones are working fine. 14 comics currently comes to about 900K (but I suppose that will depend on your graphic settings, and how well you decide you want to read small cartoonist lettering).

This is an excellent site! For black & white comics, I was able to change the graphics compression to 4bit (16 shades), which look exactly the same as 16bit. The size for my 10 comic strips went from over 2mb to 300kb!

I wonder if anyone's resolved the problem with some comics not showing from this page...tried to build and load one, and several comics fail to convert. All were color, but after some snooping, all the comics that failed to load were from this site:

http://cst.rbma.com/

...which is part of the King Syndicate site, and that link will jump you to their page talking about paying for content! So I assume that the Chronicle pays for the content, but once removed from them, the comics won't display. Tried to pull the urls for the missing comics out of the source code for the Chronical page and added them as extra url in iSilo, but same results...no show.

Not sure we can get around this, but I'm open for any ideas!

this is cool

ok all the comics have the same size

so whats the best image resizing parameters for Isilox ?

Update: I reduced images by 50% and it was perfect, no need to scroll up and down, just to the right.
i used 380 by 120 (This is only for 160x160 devices such as m515,m505 .. as for hi-res devices i.e. 320x320 nothing needs to be changed)
