Getting an error when trying to jailbreak Kindle DX Graphite

I am following the simple tutorial here https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kind...nd_3.x_Kindles.

When I apply the update, i just get an error saying "the update was not succesful". Can someone help me out? My google-fu must be weak tonight.

OK, i should've paid more attention to the instructions. This is intended behaviour. After seeing the error, I proceeded with the steps in the tutorial, and now have successfully added custom screensavers to my Kindle DXG.

Since this post now shows up in google, hopefully, this will help someone out.
