Can I upload an updated version of my EPUB to the iTunes store?

I uploaded my epub to the iTunes store last week, but am still waiting for it to get approved. The other I did took about a month.

I just noticed a couple small errors missed in proofing.

Is there anyway to either upload an updated version, or cancel my epub and upload another one.

I didn't see any options for it in my user account.

Has anyone ever had this problem? With Barns and Noble and Amazon it was really easy to upload a new version.

Yes. According to the documentations for iTunes Connect you should be able to update and replace your EPUB file as long as the book is in the pending "quality assurance" stage. Once Apple assigned metadata, however, updates can't be made.

What I'm not sure about, though, is whether or not updating the book "resets the clock" in getting the approval completed.

Good luck!

Thanks.

I feel like this should be possible, but I'm in iTunes Connect right now. When I click on the title, my only 2 options are "edit metadata" and "edit pricing" I can't see anything about the actual epub file.

I' not entirely sure, but I think you'd resubmit from the beginning, and I'd assume that given the exact same ISBN the action would effectively replace the previous version.

You're correct, I did this yesterday and iTunes picked up that it was the same ISBN number and just updated the version. Thanks for the help.
