One eBook, multiple fonts?
There's a book due out where I'm told that, in the course of the story, there are several conversations where different typefaces/fonts are used to differentiate among, say speaker A, speaker B, and speaker C. Thus, A might speak in, say, Bookman Old Style, B in Helvetica, C in Comic Sans, to use an example.
I don't think this will faze calibre, but what about eBook readers? Do they require that all text be displayed in the same typeface, except for effects like bolding or italics? Thanks in advance for any replies. |

ePub supports font embedding and you can have different type faces. So you can have the main text in one font, the headers in another and speaker A,B,C all in yet three different fonts. Mobipocket (AZW) does not support font embedding and you cannot do what you say this eBook will be doing.
