highlighting and notes are nice but not a high priority for me. what i need is being able to get across the book easy. going from chapter to chapter makes that easier, but a book is still infinitely easier to navigate and find a selection you wanted to look back to.

I need something that can handle a large library and also not keep me waiting for page turns. I want to be able to buy/access as many formats as possible.

Highlighting for me is a total non-issue, I have never highlighted anything and am not about to start now.

1. FEATURES: Open multiple books simultaneously - for me no point in a reader or even slate device which cannot achieve this trivial to implement ability.
2. SIZE: 11" or larger color display - I don't care about light weight as functionality is more important than the superficial.
3. BATTERY: User swappable or extra battery is a must due to my need for a large panel.

My intention is a research and work tool not a toy or novelty to replace $4 paper novels.
