Sticky thread promotion and demotion suggestion for moderators
The thread "KoboBooks.com Discount Codes" is ongoing and updated often. It is my assertion that this is a candidate for promotion to "sticky" status.

The thread "Installation Instructions for Kobo-1, Release 1.8.1" is version specific and not ongoing and updated. I suggest this be stripped of its "sticky" status to make way for the above.

The problem with the Discount codes thread is that we have been told making it a sticky is contrary to MobileRead policies

The deals and freebies thread in the Kindle forum is a sticky. Can someone explain why the Kindle forum has a sticky but the Kobo forum can't?

I couldn't find a deals and freebies thread sticky in the Kindle forum. Could you provide a link?
