Sovos E-Reader Content Display Issue

Hi all,

new to these forums so firstly apologies if this is in the wrong place!
I wonder if someone could help with a problem i've encountered with my E-Reader?

I have a Sovos E-Reader, i've downloaded around 20 ebooks in epub format so far (mainly from WHSmiths) and had no issues.

I downloaded 5 more this afternoon, uploaded them to the reader using Adobe Digital Editions and then checked the on the reader, 1 is ok however 4 others have an issue, they open ok but display weird characters randomly on lines (seems to be where apostrophys etc should be) the characters look like chinese symbols??

Has anyone got any idea how to fix this? the text is fine when viewing it on my PC, i've tried re-downloading it and re-uploading it to the reader etc and restoring the settings on the reader but nothing makes any difference

Im stumped as to what to try next, bit annoyed as i've paid for them all so wonder if anyone can help?

could it be that there are some fonts missing from your reader? It might help if you uploaded a picture.

I also have the same problem. I can get used to the apostrophes, full stops etc being a random symbol after a while, but now I am downloading Spanish books for studying I can't see what the symbols are supposed to be. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.
