Hiya,
Getting this message when trying to connect my Kobo to Calibre (on a Mac OS 10.6.7): calibre, version 0.8.8 ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device database disk image is malformed Traceback (most recent call last): File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/device.py", line 81, in run File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/device.py", line 332, in _books File "site-packages/calibre/devices/kobo/driver.py", line 202, in books DatabaseError: database disk image is malformed Have never had any issues with it previously. Calibre has been brilliant! Any help would be fantastic! W |

This probably means that the internal memory on the Kobo has become corrupted. There should be some way to reformat it (but you will lose all the books you have loaded when you do so).
