I have three.
1. Nook Classic. First I ever owned. Cut my teeth on that one. 2. PocketBook 360. Portability. Chose over the PRS-350 for the SD card option. 3. Sony 950. Screen size, PDF support, metadata collections, touch screen. Really want to try the Kobo Touch, but Husband gets that twitchy look when I mention it. ![]() |

I have my 505, and my girlfriend has her 300. For us, that suits our needs. Now, that said, I'd love a Onyx M90, or something of that sort, for taking notes in class. Those are just out of our price range right now.

1. PB360 (portability, integrated cover, user control over display, wrist flicks to turn the page)
2. Sony 950 (only b/c I scored a clearance refurb price. Bigger screen for pdfs will do for now while I wait to see how the offerings for academic-strength annotation features on larger screens play out.) |

Sadly only one ( a Kobo). But I would like to wait until colour e-ink gets better and cheaper and get one of these. Also would like a slightly larger screen and colour device to read my collection of PDF books - not entirely successful on the Kobo (you try converting an textbook on ancient Greek!)

![]() I have, actually (see my user name). Download Diogenes (it is free) and the TLG if you don't already have it (Thesaurus linguae graecae. There is a free online only version, you have to buy the non-online version to use with Diogenes). I just cut and paste Greek or Latin text from Diogenes into word (or whatever word processor I feel like using) and convert them into a PDF that is suitable for a 6 inch screen. For scanned textbooks, I use my iPad. Very few are readable on a 6 inch screen. I would usually use Briss (also free) to cut off margins or divide the page into two before I bought my iPad. Give Briss a try, it will help a lot with readability. Here is a link to the online version of the TLG: http://www.tlg.uci.edu/demoinfo/demoauthors.php cut and paste your texts from there, it is free and legal. It is a good workaround if you are only reading straight text. Sorry I'm so off topic; when I read the work "Greek" I get a little too excited. ![]() |

Some of the old Greek & Latin textbooks are fine as they were small enough to fit the Kobo screen, but trying to read a large PDF file is an exercise in frustration. |

One and none probably should have been separate, seeing as how those two answers are more different from each other than any of the respective answers. Heh.
