inline text to footnote

Hello,

I have some .rtf files with hundreds of notes that are inline text and they have a tag at the beginning and the end of the note.

I work in cs5.5 and I'm using a script called refoot.js but is not preserving characters styles (bold, italic, bold-italic).

In this moment, after I have the footnotes, manually I change the character style for each footnote and they have regular, italic and bold in each note

The original document is in word, so if you can help me with a macro is also perfect.
