Newbie on technology want to print an e-book

Hi I am new to this technology and an avid mature age musician that likes to play music and also read books, bumped into this sight as I was looking for information regarding adobe e-books.
I purchased a book on line a simple book about 60 pages long, noticed it was written by a friend of mine I knew when I was 40 years younger and played in a band with him.
What annoys me is that I am unable to print this book as I don't have a e-book device of my own, only my desk top computer, as it is encrypted by something called DRM, I am wanting to know if there is anyway I can print a single hard copy of this as I not in the habit of sitting on my computer for long periods to read?
Have browsed some forums and find it very interseting and well presented and laid out.
Thank you for allowing me to join.

Good to have your company, Bassman. And I can't help wondering if the final letters of your username, wa, are in tribute to the Watkins Amp (the Super Bass). If you're as long-in-the-tooth as I am, you'll remember them from the sixties.

Sorry I can't help with your problem. It sounds to me like you need a DRM-free copy of the book that you can convert to a print-friendly PDF format using Calibre Library software (A free download here: http://www.calibre-ebook.com).

I'm no technotop myself, though, so why not ask in the Calibre-dedicated sub forum here?

Happy reading, happy playing and best wishes. Neil

Hi Neil

Thanks for the help, did not manage to get to test program as yet but noted there is a video attached to that site. The funny thing is after talking to my mate in SA sent me his book in pdf file so it has worked out fantastic, but will definitely try the program with another book when the need arises
