Sorry, the file you are attempting to open cannot be opened by Digital Editions.
I want to be able to borrow books from the local library through Adobe Digital Editions. I am able to download them if they are pub but if I try to download a pdf file I get the following "Sorry, the file you are attempting to open cannot be opened by Digital Editions" . I do not have any idea how to fix this problem. On searching the web and Adobe forums I see this is a common problem but as of yet have found a solution. It works with non encoded pdf but not encoded. Does anyone have a suggestion? It would be nice to have the option of borrowing book from the library. Thanks for your help.
