Help! can no longer wait for ebook version xP

so there's this out of stock and out of print book that i wanna read (because it's out of stock and out of print and it was published in 1979). there are no more new copies by 3rd party sellers on the net, just used ones. i'm thinking of buying a used copy for $30. yes or no? D:

i highly, highly doubt it will get a digital version.

There's nothing wrong with spending a ridiculous amount of money on a book you want! Thirty bucks isn't bad; I once spent $230 on a copy of Bernard Heuvelmans' classic cryptozoology work "On The Trail Of Unknown Animals". I don't regret a cent of it. You should buy the book you're considering. In fact, you owe it to yourself. Just think of all the money you're saving by contolling your ebook addiction...uh...hmmmm. I still think you should buy it.

thanks i just feel so guilty, ugh! and i don't know if i should buy it from abebooks or amazon. none of the 3rd party sellers on amazon selling the book have the tag "fulfilled by amazon", so i have to pay shipping !

Thirty bucks for a book is not worth angsting over unless you truly can't afford to spend that much.

Bought and scanned to an eBook?

Lol. She never told us. Hopefully, she's not still trying to decide whether to buy it or not.

Back before the internet I spent eightynine dollars on Robert Service's first autobiography "Ploughman Of The Moon" and it took two years to locate a copy through a specialty used book service.

Today I could buy a copy for twenty four dollars with one click on Amazon.

It still hasn't been in print since 1957 though.
