Development Maybe fixed WiFi Disconnected problem after hibernation

I changed the sleep policy for WiFi to sleep when screen is off and have not had the issue since. Not an ideal solution at school though, each time the WiFi sleeps I need to authenticate with my university's network again to use the internet.

I don't see "Sleep Policy" under settings/categories. Where do you set this?

How do you authenticate your school network? I am just curious. I have not yet figured it out with my institution's network.

Settings - network controls - WiFi settings - menu - advanced

At UNM we log in to a WiFi authentication page with our school ID and password. There is also a guest network which just require an agreement to use according yo school policy. Th e browser needs to be on mobile or I get asked to download software to monitor my firewall/antivirus software.

My wifi disconnects automatically when I close the EE, but I still have hibernation problems.

Makes sense, if this is set then on wake-up it wakes up Wi-Fi.

I noticed when on my authenticated work network and using a corporation supplied apparently, even in sleep radio cell usage high even though battery status showed Wi-Fi low. This could be the souurce of issues and developers could check that radio cell access not used on edge isn't linked to Wi-Fi and perhaps causing battery, sleep and hibernatiion issues.

I tried your suggestion re WiFi settings but did not see any improvement in the problem. Thanks anyway. I'll keep looking.
