Multilingual dictionaries?

Hi all,

Is there some way to install multilingual dictionaries (like German<->English, Spanish<->English)?
On my iPod touch I could just download an app- but, since I am outside US/Canada, I cannot buy apps from either Amazon or enTourage for now.

Also, at the Google Android market, I get an error after logging in using my google account to the effect that "this account is not linked to an Android mobile devise."
Huh? Why do they care if it is or not? Don't they just care about the money anyway?

BTW I am using the Android 2.2 beta version on my Edge.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I found an app with a nice Japanese-English dictionary. Guess you just have to find the app.

I also have a nice English-Italian dictionary from SlideME. The app even has text-to-speech built in. Now if only I could get that part to work. I know it's possible. (Oh, Cheyenne? Where are you?)

Thanks for the replies guys!
I found some very good dictionaries at:

http://www.penreader.com/android-software/

The good thing is that they allow you to download a trial version with some features blocked and then buy a registration code to unblock later- you can do this from your edge.

Of course, the dictionary is not as well integrated in the E-reader as in the Sony reader, but it is still a good option.

I think quite some time ago I heard that you set which dictionary is the default for the system, which might allow the eReader to search the dictionary you want rather than the Oxford Collegiate Dictionary the eDGe comes with. Anyone know?

Also, the Search app/widget can be configured to search all kinds of things, including possibly additional dictionaries.

I'm using LangToLang v1.4, which isn't so great for scholarly work, but for everyday I-forgot-the-word-for-this, it's great.
