transferring pictures from a flashdrive

hi i'm not quite sure how to do this or which route to take. i have documents to go d/l'd to my computer. when i read the instructions on how to put the usb flashdrive into my pocket edge it says to find the public folder. i don't have a clue what or where it is # 1 & # 2, would it be easier to use DTG to transfer my pictures that way. i just want it to be able to go right to the pictures folder on the PE. thank you for any help you can give me. Plug in the flash drive, go to storage, tap on USB 1 or 2, checkmark the files you want to move or copy, select the option from the bottom, tap edge or sd card at the top, find the folder you want the pics in, open it, tap paste files here at the top.

thank you cheyennedonna, it worked perfectly. now i hope i can use one of my pics for the reader wallpaper!!
