Accessories EE screen protectors at amazon.co.uk

Hello!

I've been searching for screen protectors for my Pocket Edge (out for delivery today!!) and found some designed for the big eDGe that I hadn't seen mentioned on this forum. Amazon.co.uk has 2 brands at various prices (they do sell/ship to North America, not sure of the cost). One of the brands, Vikuiti (3M), has 3 grades of protection. But they are expensive!

I'm still looking for a better option for my PE than cutting up a screen protector designed for a large tablet like the ipad. Has anyone found the right size??

I can't answer your question because I'm cutting up generic screen protector for my big eDGe. BUt would like to say that at GBP 54, I wouldn't think of giving up my money for that. Nobody has submitted a review either.

Now what I do is buy the generic screen protector that comes with a sheet with gridlines to make fitting easy and for less than GBP 4, I would gladly spare the time and effort for cutting. It works just fine on my two screens.

Ahhh! I saw those gridlines in a picture but did not connect them to easy cutting -- thanks for the tip!

(Kind of like contact paper, eh?)
I'll check my nearby Staples and Best Buy.

Meanwhile, nobody told me the "piano black" on the Pocket Edge sparkles! It is quite a beautiful finish, IMHO, and I am now rethinking my desire to skin it. Yes, it's here, charging!

Glad to have helped. I'm guessing that you are in UK. If so, I think you are the only other person in this forum that is located in UK. Would be glad to hear from you whenever you are able to find good and cheap eDGe accessories.

Maybe if there are other UK eDGe owners reading this, we can start a thread for eDGe accessories that are available in UK. Just a thought.

I am not in the UK (though I sometimes wish I were!

). I'm in California, USA. I shop at Amazon.co.uk sometimes because they have what I want, and they let me.

While looking for screen protectors, I came across this website: www.entourageedge.eu which is based in the Netherlands. They have a bunch of accessories, mostly SD cards. When I first looked they had screen protectors, too, but now they don't -- go figure!

So far so good with my PE . . . .

California is not so bad. I sometimes hanker after some LA sunshine during subzero temps.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up about the Netherlands site. The screen protectors have been missing for several months now. I've had a look at it but would probably shop with them only if I can't find a cheaper alternative elsewhere closer to home.
