Note taking technique - for what it's worth
I did a quick search to see if anyone had mentioned using journal for this purpose. Didn't see anything so I thought I'd pass it along. Hope you'll forgive me if I'm preaching to the choir.
I love to watch documentaries and educational films (the geekier the better) oftentimes taking notes while watching. I found that if I lay the e-reader side on my lap and open a new journal selecting the page format for blank I can watch the video and scribble my notes in landscape mode advancing pages as needed. Works rather well. Funny that my handwriting improves if I'm not watching what I'm writing. |

I believe that's one of the usages envisioned by enTourage

This really sets the edge apart. Even with the occasional developmental warts we deal with, it is a great device and is very functional.

Couldn't agree more, canezilla. The journal experience is superior to an iPad and maybe inferior only to a tablet PC (depending on one's specific uses). The dual screen still can't be beat, especially like TommyZ said, when you're taking notes about something you are watching/reading on the other screen. Even on a tablet PC you'd have to pick one or the other to be in the foreground.
