Calendar
Hi All,
It appears to me that the Calendar app that comes with the EE does not sync with Google or any other program. Is there a good apk out there that will allow me to have a calendar on the EE that syncs with google? I tried doing a search, but my limited knowledge of android apps and the sites from which you download them made the task impossible. Thanks! |

There are two that I've heard about. One is Jorte, which has the option of being standalone or syncing with Google, and Executive Assistant Plus, which can sync with Google among others.
For the Jorte, look here: http://www.androidzoom.com/android_a...orte_fdhb.html. For the Executive Assitant Plus, look here: http://www.entourageedge.com/forums/...ull=1#post8129 (I'm not sure you can get the APK outside the Google Market). Perhaps someone else has a download link. |

[QUOTE=borisb;1584668]There are two that I've heard about. One is Jorte, which has the option of being standalone or syncing with Google, and Executive Assistant Plus, which can sync with Google among others.
For the Jorte, look here: http://www.androidzoom.com/android_a...orte_fdhb.html. Jorte only syncs with Google if the Native app is present on the device. Executive assistant works to see your calendar appointments, but you can't add/edit/delete from it. |

I use Astrid, synced with Producteev, http://www.producteev.com/ to add to my Google Calendar. Then Executive Assistant to see all my appointments. Not ideal, but better than nothing.

I really would like to be technologically savvy, but I fear I am not. So, Cheyennedonna, as much as I appreciate your insight and help, I'm afraid I'll just keep using the google calendar website. Thanks so much, though!

I'm having trouble getting Executive Assistant to connect to my Google calendar. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

When you configure the account make sure you use your full username. "username@gmail.com" and uncheck the get from Google password box - type in your account password.

So when I uncheck the 'get from Google' box the place where I would type in my credentials is grayed out so I can't type in my email address to get my calendar. What am I doing wrong?

Try removing that account and adding again, where are you trying to get Jorte from?

AndApp and SlideMe. Says it's not found. Also from one of the links provided.
