Android Sirius XM apk 2.2 needed... but it WORKS!!!!!HAPPY TIMES!

I am happy as can be. The website says it needs 2.2 to run but the eDGe is running it right now with complete functionality.

No special instructions. I am running it now even though my work blocks all internet radio. Hehe.... I anpm running with the most current update from eDGe. Did u download it from the Sirius website?

Is that at an additional cost to the online Sirius/XM subscription? I have the online subscription, but the EE can't play it... I guess due to a lack of Flash?

Yes. Latest update and downloaded from Sirius..

Wow. I promise I have it working and I wish I knew how to help you. Do you have any idea of what I did, settings-wise that would make it work on my eDGe when it doesnt on others? I am running it in original position.. I mean not-landscape.... That is also9 how I installed it.

Yes, I have a Sirius internet subscription. But that is all you need to have it work... You can use the iTunes app, android apk or your computer with that one subscription.

If anyone can think of something I should check for on my eDGe that allowed me to run it... I will give it a shot.

One thing I just though of... maybe having some of the extra video/audio players installed on my eDGe allowed it to work?? Something like a shared codec, if they use something like that in this OS?? Maybe?

I just thought of something else but I do not think it is relevant. I will add it to be safe. I needed to install a startup manager (7 day trial) because I had too much stuff loading and it was causing all my streaming apks to stress. RadioTime was struggling and I need that to work or I start to have a bad day! The SiruisXM apk would load but not play until I cleaned up my init load. After my seven day trial ends, I will have to either uninstall all the extra stuff or get another startup manager/cleaner. But now all my streaming audio/video apks work great...

I should have been more clear. I tried using the web-based player on the EE, and that didn't work. My (uninformed) guess is that we don't have a version of Flash that can play it. I'll try the android APK. Thanks!

The extra apps is probably it. At least according to my limited knowledge of how things work... it would make sense. I will have that to you as soon as I get home, later tonight. I kind of went crazy and installed a lot of apps using what Dr. T provided through aptoide (I forget how its spelled .. but it is something like that.) Sorry but I have to run back to work. I will have the list ASAP.

Here are some of the apks I have downloaded with Aptoide. I added the repositories from the Aptoide post. I think two of the repos didnt work and one adds a bunch but it is for a higher version of Android... but some work.. and some work well.

2. Musical Pro
3. mVideoPlayer
4. Pandora 1.4
5. Real Player 0.0.0.15

That is all the music or video stuff I see right now. If you get those apks and it still doesnt work, I can list every app on my eDGe. Good Luck!
