Hello
Can the edge connect to a NAS i.e. appearing as a networked drive? For example, is it possible to download pdf files stored on a NAS (drive formatted in NTFS), and also upload back to the NAS drive? thanks |

The edge would need to be able to mount the network drive -- probably via CIFS (SMB/Samba) or NFS. Not sure what other methods are used with a NAS device.
There appears to be a CIFS module for Android described HERE, but according to the post there it would require a custom ROM. (There are people posting in the Development section who have that problem beat.) This other post says both NFS and CIFS are possible -- if you have your phone (aka eDGe) rooted. |

Try the ES File Explorer's "Lan" tab. It allows you to connect to file servers. Note that you may need to PING the NAS to get it's ip address to give to ES File Explorer in case it can't use the NAS server name.
