Edge updates but doesn't?

Last week the notification for the Dingo 1.1 update appeared on my edge. I waited until later, when I could be home and plugged in, then ran the update. The edge rebooted, showing the updating notification on the reader screen and rebooted. I went about my business and today the notification popped up again. I checked the software version, it showed Dingo 1.0. I ran the update, the edge rebooted, I checked the software version, it still shows Dingo 1.0. What's up with that?

I had that problem with the Dingo 1.0 update, requiring 3 or 4 applications of the update before it "took". enTourage told me I was the only one

Dingo 1.1 worked the first time for me though.

So, just keep trying the update until it works. Hopefully it'll only take 2-4 tries

OK got it, after 4 tries, and a heart-stopping moment where it seemed to initialize forever. My reader wallpaper set to the info wallpaper, but that seems to be the only casualty. Thanks for the info.

The Reader wallpaper reset on me, too, with the Dingo 1.1 update.
