Development Search Android Market

I have created a (very simple) app that allows you to search the android market from the eDGe.

I have uploaded an apk file and a zip file containing the source, libraries and an apk file.

I knocked this up an an hour or so, so don't expect much. it's just a proof of concept.

p.s. A google account is required. You will need to enter a valid google login/password

update: I've updated this and added a Details page. Next thing to add is downloading the apk file.

Update:

Tried the app but could not get it to work. After entering my login info it throws up an 'unexpected error'

I've uploaded a new version. Next step is to display screenshots, then download the apk file.

Installed but clicking on search does not take me any further (nothing happens)


(Thought I know several developers are working hard to make the edge really rock, but it nice too to have a piece of new software on witch we can have some "hands on")

it works for me (after entering my login info, that is). It doesn't download the apk yet though.

make sure that you have entered your login details in the settings before you try to seach. if you haven't you should get a quick messgae at the bottom of the screen telling you to.

Reinstalled and re-setup now working OK.

I know this post is months from the initial work on this very hopeful endeavor but I would like to know if work continues.

I downloaded the zip file and installed only the apk. After I entered my Google user name and password, I attempted to run a search. I received the message "The application GMkt Browser (process uk.org.aspellclark.gmrkt) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

Should I have installed any other files first?

What's the latest on the app?

As you can tell from my questions, I'm not a developer; however, I am an excellent tester of apps and appreciate the work you and others like jcase put into making the eDGe a cut over other devices.
