Wifi wont turn onj

New problem. It was working well earlier. I am connected to wifi on my laptop but on the edge the wifi will not 'turn on' let alone connect nomatter how many times I press it. It just stays off.

wtf?

Any tips on what could be doing this? It happened suddenly and I dont know what I could have done to make it so.

Did you ever figure out what to do/ how to get the wifi to turn back on? Inquiring minds wanna know.
