When can we expect V9?

On Jinke's site it says 2007-12-31 for the base model.

Yes, thats the official version. But is this true? LVD who seems to know a lot about Hanlin and PVI says that they will not release V9 by end of this year...

Im constantly thinking... shall I buy a V3 or shall I wait...

I personally doubt, that the V9 will hit the market in January 2008. I expect it to be more like March 2008. But thats just my gut feeling.

I'd go with what PVI has to say since they are the ones making the screens.

And don't forget to have a look at the soon to be coming Cybook Gen3 and the new Sony Reader PRS505.
