Ensuring and Preventing Sleep Mode

One way to tell if an app will prevent sleep mode is by checking the application's Permissions (press the Home key, "Settings", "Applications", "Managed Applications", the app, and look under the "System Tools" entry under "Permissions"). Look for the "prevent eDGe from sleeping" permission
Read this after 'Bluetooth...' reply.
Followed the procedure. Will take the time to read 'Permissions' prior to installation of an app. from here on.

Thanks Boris. I guess once official apps from eDGe app store start becoming available a lot of such issues will go away. Currently many of us are using apps from a variety of sources and most of them are not optimized for eDGe.

I think I am patiently going to wait for apps to become available from the eDGe store and not install apps from third party sources, unless they are absolutely critical (at this point I have almost everything I need).
