Wow! So, I'll be able to read Google books on the eReader without even downloading anything? Cool. I'm looking forward to youtube and flash, too. I guess Laptop mag will redo their review soon.

I should probably clarify that we have made it possible for you to capture a web page either as an ePub so you can mark it up, or as a PDF snapshot so you can retain the formatting. Both versions can be added to your library for off line reading. We did not make it possible to browse the web using the e-ink screen. Sorry! DP |

Boris,
Okay, I was hoping you folks would like this. The idea was that web sites change, potentially while you are researching something. We thought it would be handy to freeze them in time so that they can be predictably referenced over the course of a long project. Also, it is nice to be able to mark up an article with the stylus and e-mail it as a PDF to a friend. DP |

Dontpanic, I saw that after the release notes were published. Oh well, someday I hope to read Google Books with images on the eInk screen. I've even tried to get Google to figure it out with Adobe, but I haven't heard back.
I still really, really excited about this update and can't wait! Looking forward to the better word predictor, too. |

Don't give up on us! We are still actively working this issue with Adobe. There may be hope. DP |

Super fantastic!
Good job eDGe developers!
You made my day! I love my eDGe, and can't wait for these features on it. I think this device will be a cult-classic someday. -Matt |

Oh, trust me, I haven't given up. At. All. I adore my eDge so much, I only fire up the desktop to print something. I don't have a wireless printer, yet.
I've found a ton of books with images that work perfectly on the eDGe on Internet Archive, and have happily read several books. While checking email and these forums, as well as general surfing. |
